Have you ever felt this way?

For those of you who are close to reaching your goals or have completed you goals, did you question in the beginning if the weight could ever come off? This is what I'm scared about and one of the factors that is preventing me from getting serious about losing just this 20 pounds. I'm scared, say what if I have some sort of disease that is preventing me from losing weight...ya know, silly thoughts in my head. So, how were you guys able to get past these thoughts and get serious? I mean I know why I've gained the weight (overeating, emotional eating), and I have in fact seen significant results in my body from lifting weights and doing various forms of cardio over the years (classes, hiking, swimming, walking, etc)...but it's just the eating part, which is 80% of losing weight. And, any tips on sticking to an eating plan (by the way, I don't starve myself, so deprivation is not the problem). THANKS!!!
