Do you slack off when you near your goal weight?

I've lost 31lbs since October, and I still have 42 lbs to go. My goal is to fit into a size 6, but I think I'll probably slack off a bit when I get to a size 8, but maybe I'll feel really motivated when I'm so close to my goal? Of course it will be more difficult then because my RMR will be lower so I'll have to work harder to burn as many calories as I do now.

What have your experiences been?
