Cheat day/meal?

Hello everyone, I am wondering what everyone thinks about the cheat day/meal idea.

Many people have recently told me I should have a cheat meal or day once a week because eating things your body is not used to will boost your metabolism?

If I ate perfect the entire week with no bad foods at all, should I be having a cheat meal at the end of the week? Or maybe once every two weeks.

I don't feel like I need it, and actually I dont want it because im trying really hard and even if its a "scheduled treat" I feel like I'm back tracking when I eat it. However, if it's better for me to eat it then I guess I wouldn't feel guilty.
