Am I eating too little?? Should I eat more?
I have been really working hard the past year and more. i've never been over weight but since graduating college and being in the real world i've steadily put on 10 pounds. i'm trying to lose that! I burn apporoximatley 9,000-10,000 calories a month excercising (i wear my polor heart rate monitor to find that number). typically i exercise 4-5 times a week averaging about 500-600 each workout. i usually eat 1400-1500 calories a day. weekends probably a little more. My BMR is 2300, so if i'm burning 500 calories in exercise and also cutting my calories by about 700 calories, am i putting my body into hybernation mode and slowing my metabolism? everyone says i need to eat more but i can't get it out of my head that eating more won't make me gain weight! i eat very healthy btw...
