Is my Twin Addicted to Excercise? HELP!!!

please help! I need advice. I'm a young adult and my twin and i have had to watch our food intake due to food sensitivities to wheat, sugar and some oils. We are really close sisters and together for awhile she led us in cutting our calories way waaaay back so that we were counting everything and lost a lot of weight (we were never overweight) and into exercise. That was a few years ago, we have since been adding in fats, grains, and calories due to nutrition advice and the realization that loosing our periods for a couple years is dangerous to our bones and she has osteoporosis at 23 in her spine.

Both of us are strengthening our bones and muscles and back and taking calcium and she’s taking hormones to try to regain her period and balance. I have my period again but it is really not consistent and mostly light.

My real question is about exercise. We walk 2.6 miles with weighted backpacks (over 20pounds) three times a day, do 100-200 sit-ups, 30 pushups, run in place, jump for long times, and just are on the go at home and at work. My twin is the leader and just says she loves exercising and never ever wants to stop. I get afraid when she just keeps going and going and try to ask her to stop but her remarks are about loving it and not wanting to stop, she says I can if I want to but she feels great and doesn’t want to. She almost never stops moving and does NEVER sit unless she HAS to and is on the go. If we’re waiting for something, she just starts jumping, or running, or exercising. We also lift weights almost every day (and ten pounds in each arm).

She is 20 pounds thinner then I am. She is 5’10 and weights 130 at the most and you can see her bones and muscles. What should I do? She’s seeing a nutritionist but only seems to listen to her advice on exercising to strengthen her bones and feels like she always wants to exercise and carry everything and lift and move and even runs while she does laundry, dishes, homework ect… She doesn’t like to eat enough but is trying…if she eats enough she really excercises. I just wondered if you could give any help. She doesn’t listen to me and kinda is getting bothered by my attitude she thinks I should have fun too and keep working out.

Thanks so much it helps me just to write to you all!
