I'm a 36-year-old homeschool mom in Irving, TX. Since I was 13, I've suffered from ankylosing spondylitis, a genetic autoimmune disease that inflames primarily the lower spine, but can (and will) attack any other area of the body--joints, tendons, ribs, eyes, even internal organs. I have lots of trouble with my lower back and with all my joints and tendons. Sometimes it feels like the AS is my entire existence, but there is more to me... I have 2 boys--Davey, 7, and Gabe, 11; as already mentioned, I homeschool. I love music--expecially punk and psychobilly, but really, a little of everything. I'm a history nut, and I love to read. I'll read almost anything except total crap. I recently bought a kiln and am about to start working with warm glass--making items out of glass by melting pieces together.
