Goals: Hi I'm a mom to 2 wonderful boys and 2 step-children. I work with children with special needs and my own 2 sons are Dyslexic. I have a lot on my plate, but need to lose weight to be healthier and happier. I have been overweight my whole life and it is now time for me to stop!! I want to be healthier and set a good example to all the kids.

I am 36 yrs old, weigh about 320 lbs and have been dealing with some health problems. The highest weight I have been was 365 lbs. It came as a great shock to me when I found out how much I weighed. The bigger shock was going to the hospital with chest pain one day. Turns out it was heartburn. But of course not to take any chances I started to get other exams to rule out heart conditions. I have since quit drinking, eating late at night, trying to get exercise and eating out frequently. After starting to walk early in the mornings on a treadmill and doing some bicycle workout I began to notice changes after a couple of months. It felt good to feel my clothes were getting lose. I did reach a plateau at about 300 lbs and I was unable to lose anymore from there. I don't know if my body was just readjusting itself. But after I moved I stoppped working out as much as I did and now i have gained 20 lbs back in little under a year. I have made a committment to myself not to be lazy and start up again on a track to good health. I am hoping this community will help support my goal.
