Other Info: Hello...I will be 55 in October and since 50 gained 35 lbs. Started a healthy diet a month ago and lost 10 lbs. I write down EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth. I read all the labels. Exercise, travel, read, art.....

I am 63, and have been a professional fiber artist for 20+ years, which means a fairly sedentary lifestyle. I love to travel. I live in the California wine country. I am married to a man 17 years older than I. He recently had back surgery but is still active and in pretty good shape, so luckily, we are able to do a lot together. I have 3 grown children (all in wine business) and 2 grandchildren.


I'm 50 and my body is a bit ravaged from injuries, but I still get out. I would love to do cross fit training but have too many joint problems. Try to eat mostly raw veggies and some animal protein. I know everyone thinks vegetarians are so healthy but I know women who have messed themselves up badly that way. I want to be thinner to be more attractive and lighter/meaner in sports. Energy is better thanks to my naturopath and the corrected thyroid dosage.


I teach Humanities at the local community college and love anything about art and history. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and it is quite frustrating! Last year I had a hysterectomy and have gained 15 pounds since the operation.
