I decided to change careers in mid life and go back to school. I am excited but want to also be able to find time to eat right and exercise. I am looking forward to talking with others who also trying to loose those last 10-15 pounds


I have been happily married for 19 years and have 2 wonderful children. I home school my kids and really enjoy spending time with them. I also work part time as a social worker. I have a very active, busy life. I am a Christian and relying on God to help me be successful in being healthy.


My name is Felicia. I'm 48 and I live in South Florida with my husband of 18 years, 17 year old son and 14 year old daughter. Starting tomorrow I am going to try my best to get the exercise/weight loss thing back on track. I have about 40 pounds to lose after losing and gaining back the weight at least 3 times . I am able to do well for a week or 2 but then lose interest and drop back into my old habits. As my weight has increased so has my blood pressure so the extra pounds are now a health issue. Maybe a group would help motivate me and hold me more accountable. I'm certainly here to lend support if needed. Here's to following it through...slow and steady!


I am 44 year old Christian, married for 22 years, 4 children(27, 21, 19, 18) , 1 daughter in law (27) and 3 grand children (3,2,1). My18 year old daughter still lives at home with my husband and me. I work full time, and going to school part time and try to go to the gym every weekday morning. I like to kayak in fairly calm waters, hiking, travelling, and just started learning scuba diving.
