30's, married, 2 kids, run a business. I am really starting to get in shape and it took me a long time to get back.

I live in Stockton California. I am 22. 5'10" 160 pounds. I want to get back down to 120-130 while juggling family, school, and work. I just want to be ME again!!!!!

Have lost 70lbs and kept it off for about 5 yrs. I would like to loose my last 20lbs and be active dispite working at a computer all day.

46 yrs old, married with 2 children, about 40 pounds overweight...

I am 28, and love to run long distance. I ran one marathon, on Dec 10 in Las Vegas and have plans to run many more. As far as weight loss goes, I could lose about five pounds.

I am a 38 year old married man with two young boys. I have been running on and off since late high school. Running is the only way I have found that enables me to have a not so restrictive diet and keep the weight off. I have completed numerous 10 & 12k runs and one half marathon. I have always thought about running a full marathon but the realities of life always got in the way. Two recently events prompted me to start training for this marathon, I recently switched jobs that enabled me to work from home, so now I have flexiblity to schedule runs. Secondarily my father passed unexpectedly. Running this marathon will be a tribute to him and training for this has given me ample amounts of reflective time.

link 24 yr. old law student in the OC with multiple certificates in fitness training, currently training for a triathlon. super couch potato who doesn't get motivated unless someone else is waiting for her to work out.

34 YO female, no children, engaged to an intelligent, kind, funny, and wonderfully weird (not to mention handsome) man, who is a video game designer. :) He's not even going to see this either... LOL I recently finished my graduate degree (MSEd in Health Promotion) and just accepted a full time position as an education specialist. I overcame bulimia in Spring 2004 and have since been on a journey to be healthier, treat myself right, and hopefully lose some weight and get fit in the process! Weight has fluctuated from 117-165+? (I'm 5'2 1/2").

Late 30's with 3 kids and a big dog. Professional working mom with an incredibly hectic schedule that I try and fit a running routine around. Started running last fall after a multi-year hiatus and have just finished my first marathon in June, 2006. Looking to complete a second marathon in January, 2007.

I am 27 and have been happily married for 5 years. Unfortunately, happiness comes with a price tag of 25 extra pounds that I've gained due to birth control and laziness. I want to finish something I've started for once in my life and a marathon is the ultimate achievement.

I am diabetic and have thyroid so my merabolism is quite slow. My aim is to follow a healthy diet yet lose weight. But I have a huge sweettooth!

I am 28 and work in a SF Bay Area startup. Morning bagels and evening dinners at work are commonplace since long hours are required. This free food, hectic schedule and ocassional travelling has been responsible for my gaining about 10 lbs in the last year.

32 stay at home mom of a 2 year old son. I have lost 34 lbs since November. Obsessed about losing weight but make bad eating choices. Emotional and bored eater. I am recovering from an injury to my quad from overtraining. Ran my first 1/2 marathon anyways in May in St. Charles , IL with my husband and sister in law. Such an amazing feeling.

20 year old female, in college. 5'4 and 135. Training for my 1st half in november, 1st full in april. I'm a vegetarian, used to be a vegan but I missed cheese too much... right now I'm trying to drop a bit of the extra fat I'm carrying around, hopefully get faster and kick my endurance into higher gear and get healthier.

I grew up with a family that judged ppl on how thin they were. If they weren't thin, then they weren't worth their time. Now, that I am a young professional and recently married I find myself struggling with self acceptance and self love. Some days are easier than others.
