I am a 26 year old mom of an almost 2 year old. I used to be a very fit college student of 130 pounds and after baby points system has been harder to maintain. But now I will start and have NO Excuses. My body and happiness is more important than a piece of bread. I realized I was rewarding myself with food everyday. I will leave a rewarding emal for sunday,,, IF I save my points, I will be more happy to see a slender body that fits into fall clothes beautifully than to at leftover pizza when my husband is sleeping.

I love animals, I have 2 ferrets and a kitten. Animals are my passion. I am studying in the hospitality management field. For the longest time I didn't feel like I needed any girlfriends but lately (I don't know if it's my age or what!) I've been envious of other girls w/friends and I think it would be cool to have people other than my boyfriend to hang out with! I never took the time to make or stay in touch with friends before and I regret that now. But hey I'm only 27 so it can't be too late!

I'm 31 and I just had a baby in September and have lots to lose. I was on WW prior to getting pregnant and had lost over 35 pounds. I rejoined late last year, but haven't been very motivated. I've been at the same place (going up and down a little bit) for 3 months now.

I am 56 and while I have always had to watch my weight and diet occasionally, I have put on most of my unwanted weight in the past 8 years. My life style has become more sedentary since we moved to Maryland.

I'm 30 years old soon to be 31 (july 21st) I've never had a problem with my weight until I found I had fibrods. I use to workout and eat healthly. Now no matter what I eat I gain. Age 40, stay at home mom with toddlers during the day and grad school by night...fitness has fallen way, way down on my list and I want to at least move it up into the top five!

I'm a 43 year old man, married, with 2 kids, I've been 70-100 lbs overweight since my twenties. I grew up fat. Polish parents that encouraged over-eating. Always had rich, heavy foods, three starches a meal, and potato chips and ice cream were in the house in abundance all the time.

28 year old administrative assistant. A hermit and a couch/mouse potato. I eat when I'm stressed, loney, bored, depressed and happy.

39, live in the great northwest and have a great size to match. I used to think I was baudy and funny. Now I am fat and on a mission to change that.

I am 27, recently moved back to Austin. I work in nonprofit, am looking at going to grad school. I love yoga and am starting to try running.

I am a 35 single mother of two boys and this is my second wake-up call to fight the battle of the bulge! I lost 120lbs last year and I've gained about 20-25 back and I am so depressed about it. I can't seem to get the motivation to keep up the weight loss and I fell back into my old habits, of letting stuff get in my way of exercising and eating right. I feel so disgusted, yet I am seriously hoping to get back on track because I do not want to go back to where I was previously. I lost the weight by way of a protein shake diet, which worked wonders, but my head just does not seem to be in the game anymore. I need an intervention like now!

I am 49 and a vegan. My partner (female) and I moved to Canada from the US on June 3rd. We want legal recognition of our relationship. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I used to have access to a scale where I worked out, but the recreation centre I joined here refuses to have scales. They think measuring is enough. I have not been as careful about eating, since I am not accountable.

I'm 26 years old, mother of 3 kids, 7, 3, and 4 months. I got on WW about 2 years ago and was doing fine had lost 10% of my weight slowly but surly, then I got pregnant again and it has been hard to get motivated again but I'm not ready to give up just yet.

I am a 22 year old college student. Im starting my 5th year of college. I am a PE and health major and want to live as an example for my students. I also want to gain more physical confindance for myself and increase my self esteem.

I'm 20 and FAT! I have a three month old daughter, a husband and a full time job. I try to save time everywhere I can and that means less exercise and fattier meals. What can I say... I've gained 50 pounds in the last two years and I want it to go away!

I am 44 with a five year old boy who talks non stop

33 single, live with my boyfriend. I work full time and my job involves alot of time on the road at different locations and changing schedules. This makes it difficult to stick to diets so I am resolving to just eat healthy normal portions. I also try to get to the gym 5 days a week, but becuse of work and class schedules at my gym I don't always make it 5 days.

I'm 33, I have 3 wonderful children: 8, 12 & 15. I'm happily married and live in Charlotte NC. My ultimate goal would be to lose 45 lbs. but at this point I will be happy with just 1 lb. that would stay lost!

Im a 25 year old female who has been trying to loose weight for the past 4 years but the weight just keep creeping up instead of going down. Ive been following a program in my city called Weight Watchers, so far WW has been helping me but im looking for something to add to my motivation and I hope by joining this site I will have the motivation to stay focus on my goals to loose weight.

well i'm 21 from ny. I'm a [lifelong] vegetarian. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis which means my metabolism is super slow. I take synthroid and cytomel for that. I also suffer from depression, adhd and a metabolic disorder that I was born with. Yay. I recently was on the path to anorexia, consuming 900 calories or less a day, and during the last few weeks I've been off of that..but i feel like its important I start that up again, cause I lsot weight while doing that. I went from265-270 to 247 in about a month and a 1/2 or so. I despise transfat and high fructose corn syrup, that is a major reason I lost weight because I just stopped myself from consuming it. But over the past week or so i've been drinking a can or 2 of soda a day, probably cause I can't get my hands on iced tea mix [whcih has sugar, not HFCS], but that stops today. I don't want that crap polluting my body. I feel week and sluggish because of it. and i truly do hate it. I prefered keeping myself pure, and so pure I shall. hopefulyl i haven't hurt myself too much in the last 2 weeks or so.

I enjoy food way to much. Some of my intrests include DIY projects around the house, sewing, cards, and when I get the chance going out for drinks and dancing. I would really love to learn how to ball room dance, countrystep, hip hop, salsa, and swing.

I have yoyo dieted all my life even when I didn't need to. The best that I have done though is ww. I have started on my own a week ago.

I enjoy painting, drawing, and reading. I have PCOS, a medical condition that improves with weight loss.

Please help anyone I need motivation to lose weight I feel so uncomfortable I do not like the way my body is structured. I wish not to purchase any new wardrobe until i get back into a size 14/16 in in a 18 now. So I'm looking forward for assistance from any1 with a few good advice on losing the wight fast.

I am a 47 mother of two girls - 19 and 15. I teach foreign languages at HS. I love exercising but I need motivation. I also love food and this is impacting too much my waistline. I would love to get rid of all the fat around my waist and be bikini ready for the summer.

just turned 50 looking into the next 50's

My name is Elle makeup artist in NY. I have always struggled with my weight and I am ready to get past this and finally take control and be the person that I was designed to be. I have allowed my weight to control so many aspects of my life and I am sick of it. With that being said, I am very excited about this group and ready to get started

long term yo-yo dieting

46 year old mom of two girls ages 24 and 21. I will be a mother of the bride in May and I am putting off dress shopping as long as I can. I am 5'2" and 136lbs, but my waist does not go in and my stomach sticks out so I have a lot of toning to do and some weight to lose.

I just finished my first semester of college and I am definitely feeling the freshman fifteen, which I'm hoping to lose by going on the points system. School cafeteria food is very high in fat and oil, so I hope to start eating a lot more whole foods, maybe buying them at a grocery store or something. Also, there is a gym on campus so I want to work out at least four times a week.

About to turn 40 in a month! Married, no kids. I have a 13 year old white german shep who is my baby. I manage a day program for adults with disabilities.
