Hi, I'm Sarah! I have two kids, ages 10 & 13. I'm ready to focus on making myself smaller! I've lost, gained, lost, gained over the past ten years, and am working towards total consistency - even on "bad" days!!


I am 64 turning 65 in a May and retired (altho I still teach 3 mornings/week). I was vegetarian for 12 or so years before going vegan 2 1/2 years ago. I have read just about every book out there on plant-based eating and they were all motivational for me, well, maybe except for "Veganist" by Kathy Freston. Didn't agree with that one. My first book was China Study and then I mowed through all the others. Just can't read enough about it. It keeps be motivated to go the "whole foods" route.


Newly vegan since January... I feel so much better. I am trying to lose 100lbs. I am hoping to make the most of all this sunny weather and do some bike rides and hikes with my dog.
