Im just trying to stay healthy !

I am a 27 year old social worker and live in south FL. I need to learn to eat healthier, in smaller portions, and not so late at night. I like to be active, but I love food. It's hard to make myself eat a lot of veggies and I'm not crazy about fish. I just want to be one weight and stay there. I have yo-yo'd a lot and have pants in about 5 sizes in my closet. It doesn't help that my new boyfriend is a chef- and a good one.

I am a public librarian, I focus on health information. Divorced about 4 years, two kids, 19 and 16

I'm from Pittsburgh. Go Steelers! I've lived in Fl since July 1998. I'm self-employed, have a boyfriend, no children. I enjoy going to the gym (Gold's), spending time with my family, going to concerts, trying out new restaurants.

Hi! I'm Amy! I am 30 years old and live in Fort Lauderdale, FL

I am a 76 yrs. old mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I have a wonderful husband who does all the cooking and most of the food shopping.

I am a 47 year old woman who has lived my entire life in one addiction or another. Food definitely primary, shopping the second favorite. When I was much younger, men and very unhealthy relationships. I have been going to 12 step programs since my 20's. Always was perfect, got great results and was happy. The last timeI was in a 12 step program, it was one with an absolute food plan that eliminated sugar, flour and other food completely. I maintained 125 lbs for over a year and then I kind of kept it together but as usual, with me, an extremist, the defiance kicked up and pendulum once again swung to the polar opposite side and I am now back to 196. I have recognized that the 12 step approach is similar to behavioral therapy but very unrealistic for food addiction. I also found the people in the group to either be self riteous of very dishonest.....talking the talk with all the confidence in the world but gaining weight week by week. I do believe in the spiritual aspect but God gives man free will......it is up to me to do what I need to do. I want to average. I want to be moderate. I want to live life without every always having the underlying thought of food and shame and feeling like I am definitely respected and successful in my career but that looming, I am fat and how can people really respect me. I believe in cognitive behavioral therapy.

Ex-athlete with a very hectic schedule. Need to re-prioritize to incorporate a healthier lifestyle.

I'm a 45 yr old system engineer working with libraries. I live with my boyfriend of 4 years. I love road biking and try to do century rides every chance I get. I started this past Jan and haven't lost one ounce (or inch for that matter). My problem is inconsistency. I go on bouts where I have to travel for work weeks at a time and slack off on everything. Then am home several weeks and get into a good routine.

I'm 22. Born and raised in SOUTH FLORIDA! :) I have been a "larger" child since birth. I tend to be shy but I always want to do something. Good friends and Great times are always a plus!

I am 48 from SW Florida, and bringing life back into my life with balance, direction and the ME attitude. I realized it cant be dont alone. Support is needed.

I have always had problems with my weight as a child and growing up but when i got married i seem to gain alot more weight.. i love to walk and be very out going but i HATE being by myself trying to lose weight and exercise... i would'nt mind exercising with my hubby but he's a man and i would feel much more comfortable with a female beside me and help motivate me as like wise i want to help motivate someone else also...

I am a grad student with a very busy schedule... Just need to get the ball rolling and finally lose weight

I am a veterinary technician. I have recently graduated from medical school after being employed for over a decade in the field. I adore animals & the outdoors...plus I have an unhealthy relationship with food. Fried? Yum. Pasta? Yum Yum. Cookies? It's all over, I;'m backing my ass to the couch to watch some quality HD TV. I am also in a long-term (14 year) relationship with my boyfriend. After an extended childhood of sorts, I finally focused and finished something to the end-graduating from college. Now it is time for my next goal. A healthier me! I am also an artist 9or consider myself one) & I recently fell in love with DSLR photography.

I am a first grade teacher. I am working on my graduate degree. Also I have an 11-year-old daughter. I throw myself into my work spending most every moment during the school year researching strategies to help my children succeed and making things for the children in my class like games and things they can do. If I am not doing that, I am spending time with my daughter taking her where she wants to go or picking up her friends. I stay up late working on my graduate assignments or things for work. I often eat unhealthy--very unhealthy. During the summer, I usually travel and love to try all the restaurants I encounter. Something needs to change. I am not getting younger. I am now 31. I want to lose weight. I want to feel good about myself when someone takes my picture.

I am located in Tamarac next to University Hospital. All of are patients are treated by caring doctors 954-718-2230

Im a positive guy pursuing personal and spiritual growth.
