I'm a to-be Junior in HS and I'm 16 years old. I need 40lbs. to lose in addition to the 90.2 I've already lost. I'm 6'2" and I'd like to be at a 155. I'm an only kid, so my parents kept me busy by giving me food as a small kid. I'm very paranoid about food labels (the ingredients part) and I have a deep dislike of the 90% of food that contains high fructose corn syrup which plagues our world.


Im a single parent of a three year old girl. I work monday through friday. Im 25, 5'3 and weighing in between 111-115.


When I was little, I was really skinny...and I'm not sure what happened. I started noticing my huge thighs and my big butt around seventh grade, and I've been increasingly gaining weight. I'm sick of sucking in my stomach whenever I wear something fitted, but I also want to lose weight to be healthy - to be able play a sport without getting winded after 10 minutes.


i am a 21 year old college student. i've gained about 40 pounds in the last 2 or 3 years. i gained the last 24 of it within the 6 months. this is the heaviest ive ever been in my life, and ive never felt more helpless. i have no idea how to get it off. ive started hiking the hill to cal state 2-3 times a week, and it seems to be helping.

As a foodie, I find it really difficult to sacrifice good eats to lose weight. I am a highschool senior who has been trying to loose weight for atleast 6 or 7 years. I have never felt secure about my body and have always been jealous of those who seem to have 100% control over their weight. I am 5'7 1/2 and, as of 10/9/07, I weigh 175lbs... because I am moderately active, I know alot of the extra weight is just muscle but I still could loose a few pounds. I believe the main reason I have not been able to lose the weight is lack of motivation and time to actually workout. I hope this online community will be that extra push that I need. Currently, I am about 175lbs. I hope to be 140lbs by the end of March 2008. That means, I have to lose 35lbs in 20wks. So about 7lbs each month, and 1.75lbs per week. I will have to lose about 875 calories per day. That sounds practical to me! Hope it works. I will do my official first weigh in on 10/14 I will weigh myself every sunday after that.

I am a little bit active, but since I had surgery, and menopause started, I have not been able to lose this weight. I am 49 yrs old, going to grad school to get my masters dergree after 28 yrs. the heighest weight i ever was 135 lbs in august 2007. my doctor told my i was almost overweight, soi lost 35 pounds and weighed 100 lbs by may 2008. at my next doctor check up, my doctor said i was too skiny. since july 2008, i have been gaining all the wieght i lost back. i went up to 123 by december 2008, and now i dont want to go bak to 135 or higher. i want to be at a healthy weight of 110 and stay at this weight! im trying to get focused again and lose the wieght !

I lost 2 dogs this winter; one to old age and one to agressiveness, and my 18 year old cat is on her way out. I have been sad about these losses and have been feeling unmotivated. I am divorced but I stay busy with my daughter and our exchange student from Sweden who will finish the school year and graduate here. I try to eat good foods, but my portion control is bad. I love to eat good food!!


im summer and im sixteen, i had just recently had a baby 9 months ago. i weight around 13 more pounds than i did before i got pregnant.i need to loose this weight and fit into my siz 7and9 jeans again =) and throw out my 10's. i do exercise.i always try to run 1 mile a day on the treadmill i feel it helps but i need more exercise in my daily life , like adding some taebo into my workout and also eating healthier and not always have desert on monday at my boyfriends grandmothers. i need more motivation. also i have stretch marks so it just makes me want to lose weight more so they can sort of fade with the fat and losing weight would definetly make then more unnoticable. so i need help losing weight.that is why i joined this program.if this doesnt help im definetly going to join weightwatchers.=) i hope this helps me reach my goal of losing those last 10pounds.

Hello my name is Anna I am 15 years old and love food! who doesn't it tastes great! I am at an all time low and weigh over 150 pounds I am 5'9 and am about 15 pounds over weight and that was the last time I went to the doctors, I am afraid to look now. But who needs a scale when you can just see yourself in the mirror... My favorite jeans ripped last week while I wearing them. I try to put my belt on and I practically lose circulation. I have an awesome wardrobe I bought over the summer but can't wear them because none of them fit. Someone went up to me and asked m about my yoga pants. They were not yoga pants they were sweat pants but not they are so tight. I had trouble going up a flight of stairs the other day and running from one end of the gym from the other. I have not exercised since the first day of school August 25th. I weight the most I ever had and if I keep it up will not make the soccer team this year. Also my grades are dropping because I can't seem to concentrate and it has to do with my health I know it. I have trouble sleeping and someone told my mom they did not even recognize me. :( I am at an all time low and need to turn myself around immediately. I would love anyone's help who can! thank you!
