Began losing weight (with God's help) in 2005 using portion control/listening to hunger signals and exercise. Have lost 86 lbs over the past five years.








I was overweight most of my life and at the age of 18 I lost 130lbs. My life changed drastically! I stayed pretty thin until the age of 27 I started a medication know for weight gain and at the age of 31 I was back to over 200lbs and had gained 90lbs of it back!! I am 38 years old now and I desperately need to shed the weight for my health--I do not have to get back to the 140lbs that I was at one time--which is very thin as I am 5 ft. 10 inches tall --I would just like to get started on the right path to fitness--when I lost the weight when I was young I only cared about the way I would look-not my health--I lost the weight --I went from 270lbs down to 140lbs in little less than a year! I did it the wrong way--I was bulimic and had been tormented terribly throughout middle and high school and even by my own family and so called friends--that I was willing to do ANYTHING to be thin and attractive--But now I am a grown woman and don't give a hang what others want me to be --but how I see myself and what will make me healthier and allow me to live a fuller, happier, healthier --longer life
