Well, it depends what you're comparing it to. I mean, it's healthier than white bread. Personally, I would stay away from a bread that has "High Fructose Corn Syrup" or "Molasses", or any kind of sugar or honey in it, but then I grew up eating savory bread. My impression is that most breads in America are sweetened, so you may need it to taste sweet?
If you're looking for a whole wheat *and* low calorie bread, TJ's does a low calorie version that is 40 cals a slice. It's partly due to the slices being smaller (but not thinner) than standard bread, but partly due to no sugars and less fats. Of course, it's not as tasty as fresh artisan breads, but if you need low calorie toast or sandwich bread, then it's a good solution.
