mmmmm... chocolate and cherries. One of the classic dessert combinations of all time. Chocolate cherry cheesecakes, and German black forest cakes being a few of my favorites. Seemingly banned forever from my whittling waistline, I'd all but given up on the simple pleasures of indulging in this lucious combination. Until now.
A routine trip to the grocery store revealed this amazing discovery. Chocolate-cherry candy chews for dessert are a beautiful thing. Chocolate-cherry candy chews that also relieve me of the chore of having to choke down sandy tasting cardboard lumps labeled "multi-vitamin" are nothing short of mana from the heavens.
I won't go into great detail about all of the benefits of every vitamin on the list here since I don't want the entry to be five miles long. The myriad of vitamins and minerals packed into these scrumptious little treats contribute to promoting a strong heart, healthy bones, increased energy and metabolism, healthy eyes, skin, and hair, and even boost your immune system. Suffice it to say the links below have all of the information you need, and the taste is out of this world. (when was the last time YOU took a multi-vitamin that included chocolate liquor on the ingredients list?)
One of these, and one of my chocolate mint calcium chews as a nightly snack takes care of just about all of my vitamins and minerals for the day, and it takes care of dessert in about 40 calories.
Modern science is, indeed, a beautiful thing.
