Description:
80 calories in a 6 oz glass of red wine. There is no sugar in wine.
Alcohol is a controversial area when it comes to diet and health. Some people jump up and down touting the health benefits, while others point to the fact that alcohol is a toxin.
There is research that shows the health benefits of grapes. Other research shows the link between excess alcohol consumption and premature mortality.
Our view is that many people love red wine. We would also observe that if you have a choice between red wine, beer or hard alcohol, go with the wine, and really work to go easy. A glass for a woman, two for a guy.
You hear of the term beer belly. That might have something to do with the gluten in beer. You never hear of a "wine belly."
You also rarely hear people really talk up the health benefits of hard alcohol. We have observed that hard alcohol tends to not make us feel good.
But the whole point of what we are doing with the PEERtrainer Cheat System is to provide you wiggle room so you can enjoy life and be healthy. Eat the good stuff and enjoy the stuff you enjoy.
Let's not over-think this. In facte, we just wrote a new article called "How To Not Feel So Restricted When You Diet." Our basic point with that is that people do need to make some choices, and you can't have it all. But when you make some good choices the result is often the freedom you seek.

So is it 2 points per 4 ounces of red wine or 4 points? I'm confused.

4 oz Wine is 2 WW Points (total). But you can also have 5 oz. for 2 points as well. I like to get the most wine for my points, lol!
