My Goal: Second Goal, "Weird Weight Gained between Summer and Quit Smoking Date"

************************

First Goal, "Before I Quit Smoking Weight" - COMPLETED!!! Total of 20 lbs LOST!!!

************************

Overall Goal:

My Weight Chart:
Weight Chart

About me: I am a 31 year old stay-at-home wife/mom of 6 children ranging from the ages 4 to 12. You would think that would keep me busy enough to lose the weight...but not so much ;o) I enjoy many different crafts, such as quilting, crocheting, scrapbook, and cross-stitching.

Diets I like: I tend to enjoy from scratch meals without sugar, flour, etc....we don't eat canned or boxed foods for the most part. I have actually been interested in looking at "The Raw Diet" but have not been able to the book yet. I have tried the South Beach, but I feel like I lose interest pretty quick. Currently I am really enjoying the ideas shared at www.weighdownathome.com, only I still drink water and exercise!

Workout of choice: I love Turbo Jam and Zumba for Wii. I am also a walker. Currently I can walk 3.2 miles comfortably, but the roads have gotten icy, so I won't be out there. I will be working out to my videos and Wii :o)

My plan: First 7 day challenge: Water and Vitamins - DONE (I had also worked out, just not every day) Current 7 day challenge: Workout EVERY day, eat only when hungry and no more than 1200 cals per day -- still working with this 7 day challenge since it has not been perfected yet ;o)

I need the most help with: Staying consistent...not losing hope after only 4 days. Sometimes I just get too busy and exercise is the first thing to go, when really it should be the last thing to go. (I think I found my motivation for now, something that is working, I am not worried if it is unhealthy, AND have lost 5 lbs!)

Additional Info: I am battling agains hypothyroidism. While it is a struggle, at the same time it gives me more motivation as this could eventually lead to diabetes and heart concerns. Treating myself good now will make a difference later! Also, I am learning to not allow the hypothyroidism to be an excuse. Dec 13th last year I quit smoking...by Dec 13th this year I want to feel that I am on the right track to losing weight and getting healthier!
