Have you looked around this site to see how many people are fighting the same battle you are? Honey, you're SO not alone. We're all here struggling with you. Give yourself a hug and do this for YOU. I've been dieting since I was ten years old. In my teen years I was bulimic, and would take the city bus home in between classes at high school to throw up a cookie. How pathetic is that? One day they'll have a magic pill to make this easier, but for now, don't feel lonely. We're all here, in our own little worlds. Just take each day at a time and love yourself for sticking to your plan of making yourself healthier. You'll see results soon, and that will be your validation.

You are so not alone! Start a group with your weight loss goal in the title and see how many people join you. Keep after those who don't log. PeerTrainer is about holding ourselves and other accountable so don't ever feel bad about doing your groupmates a favor! There are so many people on this site that there should be no reason for you to find a partner!

I am with them. It is a hard battle but you are not alone and I am so glad you reached out in this forum.
Sometimes it is just so much easier to hide in the fat. And I for one am doing everything I can to come out from that.
I sometimes think of quitting but it is just because I get tired. I don't want to go back to the way it was or to that former size. I just get tired.

If you start a group post a link to it or tell us the name of it. I am an active poster and would love to share.
Keep fighting, you are worth it.

read the book "Shut up, quit whining and get a life: a kick-butt approach to a better life". You'll realize you're the only one responsible for your goals, your life, your happiness, your weight loss. look for support on pt, but only you have the answers and the ability to lose the weight.

i should add that i wasn't tell anyone to shut up, quit whining and get a life. that's the name of the book. i heard about it here on PT and love it! it forced me to look at my life and the truth about it no matter how hard that truth is. avoiding the truth doens't make it go away. i was just suggesting the book, not telling the op or anyone else to shut up.

ifeel that too

You are not alone! I share your frustration. It can seem lonely working on all of this but it's for a good reason. And previous posters are right there are probably a lot more people struggling with this than we'll ever know.
