About 20, twice. Some of them were the same pounds. :^ ) Began at 202, am down to 175, had a bad spot in between where I went back up from 180 to 191 and had to recommit myself. So basically, I've had two PT experiences and lost 20 lbs each time. When losing, I average 1 1/4 pound a week.

Wow, PP! That's amazing!

I've lost about 20 lbs. since joining PT in October 2006.

I lost 12 lbs. during the first 2 months and the last 8 took me a little over a year.

I have 9 lbs. until I reach my goal weight. I hope to be there by this time next year!

I'm the poster who lost 60 -

I think a lot of factors went into the loss thus far. I haven't been on a "diet", I've just been eating healthier (and I base "healthy" on a lot of the food recommendations in Dr. Oz's "YOU ON A DIET"). I think realizing how your body reacts to bad food will make you want to spend that little extra cash on whole grains and fresh veggies, etc. I also cut back on eating out, drink at least 64 oz of water a day, and exercise about an hour a day 5+ times a week. I really is a lifestyle change, but knowing that I could be adding years onto my life is a big motivator.

I also think it's kind of strange that I've lost so much in such little time. I feel like I should come with a disclaimer that reads "Results not typical." I eat about 1500-1800 calories a day, so I don't ever feel like I'm depriving myself. When I want something "bad", I have some in moderation instead of an entire serving.

Don't get discouraged, I'm sure if you put your mind to it you can reach your goal!

Thanks poster who lost 60lbs-
Thanks for helping me, I bought that book! I'm so glad you've found your way, I'm still floundering, but I've found exercising has helped me. Will get in the book again and began eating more healthy foods. seems to be the key.....thanks again and God bless you
