Favorite workout DVD

Hey sometimes I just get home too late to hit the gym, so I am looking for some recommendations on great workout DVD's. So far the only one I have loved is Yoga for Athletes.

What are you favorites?

There are already DOZENS of threads on this topic, with 5 to 20 responses each. Just search "DVD" in the window above.

my two favourites are both by the company called Gaiam ... one is called Yoga for Weight Loss and the other is Pilates for Weight Loss.

Both are great, the Pilates one is a KILLER ab work-out!!!

thank you thread police for making sure we all are corrected and know to pull up all that old information. I bet you stick to the paper encyclopedia's, too..

I was actually just thinking yesterday of picking up a pilates DVD - but I know that some are crap and others are good - thanks for the suggestion.

Leslie Sansone - Indoor Walking

I check DVDs out form our local Library, that way I always have a different one on hand.

But ... the ones I enjoyed the most (and are easy for this 50 some year old grandma) were the Leslie Sansone' Walking DVD's. The first one I checked out was Walking with Faith. And I liked it real well. I did end up buying one of the Leslie Sansone's DVDs. I got Walk Slim Fast Start & 3 Miles.

I provided the Link, if you'd like to check out the Leslie Sansone Web site.

Didn't realize it was archaic to suggest using an electronically searchable archive. I'd apologize, but there's so much relevant information there that my advice is far from obsolete. You're just jealous you didn't get to point it out first.

oh yes, that's it. i am so jealous that you suggested PT users are not smart enough to look up old threads and shame them for starting a new one. I am so jealous you got to this first.

I love tae bo, especially boot camp and get ripped. I also love turbo jam of any kind. In the UK we have dvds by a model called Nell McAndrew, which is a fab workout of interval training but dont think you have her in the US.

2:55 - sometimes input here is best dealt with like young children who are being annoying - ignore them. Without attention or engaging the child, the annoying behavior and the child eventually leave you alone and you can get back to what you were doing. And, in this case, we can get back to sharing our current, favorite workout dvds.

I like any yoga video by Rodney Yee and Jillian Michaels!

Gilad - best of bodies in motion
The FIRM (anything made pre-2005, when they started getting really gimicky)

Try renting from NetFlix, too.
