How are you Celebrating Spring?

Just thought that as the days get longer and the weather improves, it might be fun to see how people celebrate spring and what they are doing as the seasons change!

I'm spending as much time outside as possible! I'm trying to find a different person to go walk outside at lunchtime with every day. It's great to get to know my coworkers better, and to get in a few miles of walking! There's a big park right across the street from my office, so we just go wander for an hour - probably close to 3 miles!

I'm wearing lime green pants at work today! I would have worn open-toed shoes but my toes weren't sandle ready.

I live in Georgia and it's been in the middle 80s here the past week. I've been outside pulling weeds in the my many flower beds and love looking at the flowers blooming. Got the shorts out today ugh I still don't look great in them but the good thing is that are not tight anymore.

I'm primping up the patio. Repotted some house plants and potted a bunch of bright flowers for outside. I've got a new large 3-tier plant shelf to put together and I'll add a lattice to the back of it and will use it as a privacy fence with climbing morning glories on it.

Have started wallking outside more--and love to get out whenever the sun is shining! :-)

We slept with the windows open for the first time last night. (We're near Boston.) That was great! And we're doing things that we never get around to doing in the city when it's freezing outside: book readings, trips to museums, etc.

I made some paper magnolias from the Paper Source, they are gorgeous and a fun project. I have been spending a lot of time cooling down from runs just walking and looking up at the sunshine. I also got some fun new sunglasses!

We had snow on Easter!

Still, it IS spring here, and today it's even sunny (after many rainy days). I'm outside as much as I can be, rain regardless, and we're prepping our garden. Yesterday I had to take a quick trip to Seattle, and I will regret for many days not having a camera with me. I would have taken some shots of a flower stall--lots of overlapping closeups to Photoshop into a layered collage representing the complete scene! I did buy a beautiful print of tulips by a very pleasant artist.

This weekend I'm going to a gear review put on by the paddling club I belong to. And this morning I've just decided is the right morning for a long bike ride. Maggie-the-dog will be upset by that, but I'll take her for a walk later!
