Huge lunch, but I'm hunrgy

So . . . I totally had a huge lunch (bacon cheese burger). Not such a great idea, but what's past is past.

The problem is that it is only three hours later, and I am hungry. I'm not sure what is up with that. Do you have any suggestions? What would you do?

Did you have a pretty severe calorie deficit yesterday? I find that when I don't eat very much or work out a lot one day, I am constantly hungry the next day, nobody what I eat or do. Don't keep giving in b/c it won't make you feel any better. Suck down a couple water bottles and eat some jello if you can.

Jello - that's a great idea. I had around 1500 calories yesterday, so that is a reasonable amount, I think. I just had some vegetable soup, which I ate slowly driking lots of water at the same time.

well i do know meat travels fast through the digestive system and fat takes a long time to digest. How hungry are you? eat somthing but if you're going to eat dinner be sure not to eat a lot. if you want somthing forfilling i would try a cheese stick, or a yogert a small snack :-)

Eat something less calories dense so you can eat more. You can fill up on fresh veggies and hummus along with a hearty turkey sandwich and pretzels or fruit and have eaten less cals than the cheeseburger but they are more nutritious and filling.

I think sometimes we are hungry because the food we eat are devoid of nutrients. Veggie soup sounds great, or lots of veggies. Just go on from here and eat good healthy stuff, you'll do OK. Yes, I've had that experience with being hungry the next day after eating very little, or PMS or period food cravings.

Drink a glass of water with your meals I find it helps fill me up. I eat my meals around 4 hours apart. I'm a night hawk so my breakfast is never before 11 a.m. Also maybe go for a walk if you think you are hungry tends to get your mind off food for a half hour or so.

Eat some fruit or have a salad. Forget about yesterday today is a brand new day. Take care.
