What do I REALLY look like?

Just a thought... Does anyone know if there is a website or anything where you can put in your measurements and it would show what you look like to others? Or how big your body really is? I have seen studies done on this but was curious if what I THINK I look like is what I REALLY look like!!

I think jcrew.com allows you to create your own model based on your measurements, etc.
also try levis.com.
good luck!

For many the best way to do this is to look at pictures of themselves - especially ones with other, familiar people in them. Do they look like what you think they look like? Do you? For me the answer is usually 'yes' the others look the way they do when I see them every day and 'no' I don't think of myself as that tall, that pasty white, or that big. However I must be, because everyone else looks normal, and so that may well be the way the rest of the world sees me.

take a picture of yourself and compare it to an older picture of yourself.

because of different body compositions-some people have more fat, more muscle, la larger frame, bigger arms, smaller arms, etc-it is hard to see what YOU look like in someone else's picture even with measurements.

One thing i find that helps in realizing your true size is to know your size vs some of your friends sizes. i have a friend who i was always envious of her shape/size, and despite our weights being similar, because she was taller, i always thought she looked normal, whereas i was fat. (stupid head!) we both jumped on a weight loss mission together, and months laterwhen we were both successful, i still felt huge even though we were still at similar weights and i still saw her as "thin". what finally made me see my true size was the day she wanted to borrow a pair of my new pants (that fit me perfectly) and they were too small for her . . . if i saw her as thin, and my pants were too small for her, doesn't that mean i'm thin too? It was such a nice realization-i can now view myself more realistically!
