OP: but this is a reasonable question!
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:36 PM
Our Hero(ine): points out the likely emotional problems of Meany McMeanperson
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:37 PM
LOLOLOLOL. This is hilarious.
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:39 PM
oooh, I like your style.
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:39 PM
Meany McMeanerperson: Anger and diddain escalates with personal attack - lashes out at KIND PERSON.
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:44 PM
Intellectual Intervenor: Offers sound scientific evidence that this is a frivolous topic and very bad for your health.
Monday, July 31, 2006, 5:46 PM
Kind person #3; explains that not everyone is the same and this may work for OP.
Monday, July 31, 2006, 8:28 PM
Meany McMeanerperson: Can't stand the continuation of this stupid conversation - the problem with PT is ALL the DAMN KIND PEOPLE!
Monday, July 31, 2006, 8:57 PM
man. you people are the best! this just made me giggle lots!!!!!!!
Monday, July 31, 2006, 9:27 PM
Kind person: (gets fed up) You know, Meany McMeanerperson, the title of the thread mentions (frivolous topic/weight loss scam). If you don't have anything useful to say about (frivolous topic/weight loss scam), then don't read the thread.
Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 9:19 AM
Impatrial observor: I don't care one way or another about the (frivolous activity) but it seems to me that people are overreacting. Why are you so mean? Why would anyone be so mean in such a nice place?
Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 11:26 PM
Meany McMeanerperson: Are you impatrial or impartial? BTW, do you know the difference between lose and loose? And by the way, I am not mean ... it is just that I hate all the coddling that goes on on this site!
Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 11:28 PM
Blogger drugged up on Percocet: can't we all just get along???
(Kate - loving this thread lol)
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 12:12 AM
omg kate, were you just coddled by someone who loves your thread?
OH NO!
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 12:54 AM
This is hysterical to me..... and these crazy people, don't they have a life other than to critize? Thanks for the big laugh on this to the OP.
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 1:09 AM
Random Respondent: Gosh, I just love bunnies and clouds and flowers. I know it has nothing to do with the thread, but I wanted to share.
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 3:45 PM
Meany McMeanerperson: Go away. Bunnies and flowers are RIDICULOUS.
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 3:56 PM
LOL....very clever
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 6:09 PM
Wanda McWorrywart: Oh no! Stay away from bunnies - they can KILL YOU! If you don't believe me, see this link from the CDC about how horrible they are for you!!!!!!!!!
Link
Wednesday, August 2, 2006, 7:51 PM
Thread police: Stay on topic here people! The OP wanted to hear about (frivolous topic/weight loss scam), not about bunnies!
Thursday, August 3, 2006, 5:34 AM
Wanda McWorrywart: I'm just TRYING to be helpful! I don't think it's a good idea for people on this board to be suggesting dangerous things like that.
Thursday, August 3, 2006, 9:09 AM
Polite Mediator: I just want everyone to understand that we may all have different opinions concerning (weight loss scam/frivolous topic) and if we all just respect the others opinions perhaps this thread can be useful to all. :-)
Thursday, August 3, 2006, 9:56 AM
Just Tuned In: Comment that is a re-wording of something someone already said.
Thursday, August 3, 2006, 12:01 PM
Book Groupie: Brings up the book "Intuitive Eating" to help the OP.
Tuesday, August 15, 2006, 6:26 PM
Book Groupie #2: "Oh my gosh! I love Intuitive Eating!! It's changed my life!!! You have, Have, HAVE to read it!!! BEST BOOK EVER!!!"
Tuesday, August 15, 2006, 6:28 PM
Thread Jumper: By the way, remember the argument we had about how much breast implants weigh? Well, look at this, all you implant naysayers!

Over-enthusiastic Newbie
You guys are all just so inspirational. Thank you all sooo much:-)
Wednesday, August 16, 2006, 8:15 AM
Meany Notasmeanperson; "Oh, for goodness sake! Enough about the book! If I hear one more thing about Intuitive Eating I'm going to barf!"
Friday, August 18, 2006, 12:39 AM
Annoyed Supporter- Come on everyone! This is someone who has a question about what is important to them. It's not our place to judge! YOU GO OP!!!!!
Friday, August 18, 2006, 7:02 AM
Drama-Addicted Matronly Disciplinarian - This thread isn't about bunnies, flowers, previous breast implant posts or book reviews. I find it completely ridiculous that we can't even discuss a simple question without having a blown up argument. Are we all 3 years old? *scoffs and looks down nose* You all disgust me. I'm closing this thread now and NEVER COMING BACK!!!
*closes the thread...... but clicks the "Watch thread" button first.
Friday, August 18, 2006, 7:26 AM
LOLOLOL!!! This is hilarious!!!!
Friday, August 18, 2006, 9:13 AM
Nosey Noserston: Hey, 7:26 poster, is that you, damd1959? I think I recognize your style of posting. You're just as annoying in our group! Quit being so condescending - I saw in your log that you ate an entire large pizza last night!
Friday, August 18, 2006, 1:13 PM
ouch!! has that kinda stuff actually been posted? yikes!
Friday, August 18, 2006, 1:19 PM
What I Think
Ego-tripper: blablabla Me blablabla I blablabla well I think blablabla. And blablabla always works for me, blablabla I blablabla for blablabla Me.
Friday, August 18, 2006, 1:33 PM
OMG! that is so tru! U go girl!
Friday, August 18, 2006, 1:35 PM
Disrespectful Diva: I can't believe the f***ing censor my f***ing posts on a website where we come to support each other. You are all a bunch of f***ing close-minded bigots for not wanting to have my values system shoved in your face when you didn't ask for it!
Saturday, August 19, 2006, 11:59 PM
Wants to start their own thread.... on this thread
Starting their own thread... here - So, I have the same problems as the poster... what do you think I should do about mine? Should I try the same outrageous things or something else?
Monday, August 21, 2006, 11:54 AM
OP: becomes frustrated with trashing of original thread. starts new thread on same topic, worded slightly differently, so no that no one is suspicious.
Meany McMeanperson: tells OP to search through all threads before posting something that has already been asked.
Monday, August 21, 2006, 10:58 PM
non-computer savvy user:
How do you use those links that are posted? I click on them and nothing happens.
Tuesday, August 22, 2006, 2:50 PM
My humble opinioner: PT, I ask that this thread be removed because, as much as it offends and annoys me, I can't be adult enough to turn away or not comment even if I know from the thread title it will likely offend me and would rather the whole site change its ethical standpoint to suit mine. I think a lot of PTers feel this way. I suggest you check out this model:

Remember to get those mammagrams ladies!
Thursday, October 26, 2006, 5:12 AM
I gained 5 pounds! It's all because peertrainer users didn't support me in exactly the way I wanted. It's also because my group isn't as active as it was supposed to be. It's also because peertrainer did something to me. It's all peertrainers fault.
Thursday, October 26, 2006, 8:38 AM
This is hilarious! OP, whoever you are, you are brilliant.
Thursday, October 26, 2006, 9:53 AM
Spelling & grammar police: Actually, 5:12 poster, you spelled "mammagrams" incorrectly. It should be "mammograms." Don't forget: spelling & grammar are very important all the time, no matter what!
Thursday, October 26, 2006, 10:27 AM
Oh my gosh - I am laughing hysterically at this entire thread and it couldn't have come at a better time!!!!!!
THANK YOU to the person that started this and everyone that's kept it up!
This has made my day!
Thursday, October 26, 2006, 1:47 PM
this is great.
Friday, October 27, 2006, 4:44 PM
How Dare You Ask this Question When it was Posted Before-Person:
Hey, someone already posted about (frivolous question) here on PT back in 1492, I suggest you search for that thread, blow the dust off and read it.
Saturday, October 28, 2006, 5:11 PM
Meany McMeanperson: To the above poster - someone already pointed out that this question was already asked. Maybe you should read the whole thing before posting your opinion. (In secret didn't read the whole script either until posting this nasty message)
Saturday, October 28, 2006, 5:33 PM
Orientation to PT
Should be required reading of all newbies..sort of a road map of the discussion board...Brilliant!
Saturday, October 28, 2006, 6:33 PM
Anyone know of a software that does a gazillion calculations and can tell the exact breakdown of everything I eat, including the 100 tootsie rolls I shoved into my mouth today? If I can figure out the vitamins, sugars, protein, carbohydrates through my software, maybe then the tootsie rolls won't count!
Monday, October 30, 2006, 6:29 PM
EVERYONE - vote for MY candidate and MY opinions because you read my anonymous post on peertrainer. it counts more than any thoughtful research you could have been doing leading up to the election!!!!
Tuesday, November 7, 2006, 12:19 PM
I completely disagree with YOUR opinions and recommendations so therefore I am posting here just to tell everyone else to vote AGAINST you! (Of course I have not bothered to find out what your opinions actually are, I just feel the need to disagree.)
Tuesday, November 7, 2006, 10:40 PM
let me explain why i disagree with BOTH of you (then i explain, without realizing i just reworded your opinions and am agreeing with you - because after all, why would i actually read your opinions?)
Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 12:06 AM
Let me comment on your well thought and critcally analyzed posting with reputable links by calling it moronic and stupid without providing any credible objective information.
Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 6:56 AM
AHA! AHA! The Grammar Police return! You missed an "i" in the word "critically," 6:56 poster! Anyone who is as careless as you is obviously a negative influence on the rest of us and should immediately be banned from PT.
Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 2:32 PM
thank you, thank you. I created this post.
Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 10:10 PM
looser!
Monday, January 8, 2007, 11:03 AM
dude: hilarious.
Monday, January 8, 2007, 1:11 PM
to the above poster: correct punctuation calls for two spaces after a colon, not one; it is okay to put one after a semicolon. we need to raise the quality of this website by banning anyone who makes an error and doesn't know it's wrong. i never make mistakes.
Monday, January 8, 2007, 1:31 PM
fools! punctuation is the greatest hoax ever played on the American people!
Monday, January 8, 2007, 5:13 PM
Well, it's all Peertrainer's fault anyway. I mean, look at how they write the name: PEERtrainer. What is that about? Did someone realize halfway through that they left the caps lock button on? Honestly! They just PROMOTE bad grammar and mechanical errors. Oh, wait, maybe that should be PROmote. Sheesh!
Monday, January 8, 2007, 7:45 PM
SHEesh!
Monday, January 8, 2007, 9:23 PM
Actually there is an earlier discussion of this topic. I'm mentioning it, not because I think you'd find it helpful, but because I get off on being insulted. They will inevitably follow. (oh please oh please oh please)
Wednesday, January 10, 2007, 1:41 PM
To the 1:41 posters - both of you - YOU SUCK!
Wednesday, January 10, 2007, 4:01 PM
LOL, that is so true - I hate the people who point out the earlier threads - it's o unfair!
Wednesday, January 10, 2007, 9:33 PM
*GASP* You said "hate!" Hatemonger! You're prejudiced against thread-pullers!
Thursday, January 11, 2007, 2:18 PM
the light bulb thread reminded me of this brilliant thread that I created, hehe
Sunday, April 1, 2007, 11:43 AM
None of this matters anyway if you don't believe in God and don't go to church every Sunday. You're all going to hell, so you might as well just go ahead and commit the sin of gluttony!
Sunday, April 1, 2007, 5:27 PM
Oh my gosh, that is such a generalisation 5:27 poster. Don't be so judgemental! And I don't care if I spelled generalisation wrong!
Who ever created this thread, frickin' brilliant!
Sunday, April 1, 2007, 9:02 PM
Actually, in true British English, generalisation would be correct. Old school, "izes" were "ises"- realise, generalise, hypothesise, etc. Just like true Canadian (and British) English, have the extra U in words- honour, glamour, valour, favour, etc. (Fergie's song "glamorous" drives me nuts for that reason...)
Sunday, April 1, 2007, 9:46 PM
well not everyone is english so who cares if there is U in everything or how tomatoe is pronounces.. grins great thread. and yes I know its pronounced but I can say pronounces if I choose.. have a wonderful day everyone loving this thread
Monday, April 2, 2007, 5:36 AM
PT newbie: I just started a group called Sample Scripters just for us. Join me!
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 4:55 PM
Disgruntled PT junkie: *rolling eyes*
Not THIS thread again! I am so offended that people are making fun of the things I post here. Sheesh.
Wednesday, May 16, 2007, 7:19 PM
bump, we need a refresher in thread navigating
Thursday, June 7, 2007, 1:37 PM
This thread is officially starting up again. Its too good to go to waste
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 1:34 PM
Clueless internet user, in forum for the first time: What does BUMP mean??
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 1:44 PM
OMG! i was looking for this thread the other day!
responding to the BUMP question, three people respond.
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 1:54 PM
spelling police : you must proofe read your post for sppelling errors 10 times before hitting the post button. uSe capitals in the correct places, and never abbreviate (to the pps)
;)
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 2:12 PM
Meany McMeanerperson: Bump? You want to start a catfight of something? Get a life!
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 2:23 PM
PP !!
Holy crap I just saw that Bump response this week!!!
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 3:13 PM
Thank you!
This is too funny!
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 3:17 PM
meow
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 3:38 PM
Confused PTer: Wait.. what's 'bump'? Is it used just to keep the thread going?
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 7:20 PM
Wait, did you say "Holy" crap? Why does everything have to get turned into a religious discussion?
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 7:27 PM
What's wrong with diet soda?
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 7:27 PM
overly sensitive poster: Well I don't understand why people need to segregate themselves! I mean...why does everyone have to try to interact with people who are just like them. We are all one!!!! So what if your a one eyed blond? Get over it! Who cares you are a single mom and you want to get advice from other single moms.. you should have thought about that before having kids! There's no reason for groups at all. It offends me when people want to interact with others who are just like them.
What about me ?!! I don't fit anywhere...
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 9:17 PM
If you all just read the Beck diet plan, all your problems would be solved just like THAT!
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 11:02 PM
Unoriginal "light bulb moment" poster: All our forum problems would be solved if PT would just include our screen names. Then we'd all have to be nice as pie. Mm...pie...
Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 11:55 PM
why do YOU assume I would like pie?? i might hate pie -- you don't know me at all.
Thursday, January 31, 2008, 9:57 AM
Snotty McSnot Person: Of course you like pie. If you're on this site, you're a fat ass and you got that way be eating too much cake and pie. I'm the only one here who's not a fat ass. I'm an athlete and a model just trying to improve her workouts and pick on fat asses.
Thursday, January 31, 2008, 10:11 AM
10:11 ha ha ha
you sound just like the REAL Snotty MC Snot!

OT - Should I worry if I have green fungus under my toenails
It is really gross, and I think I have given it to my husband .... and I am afraid he is having an affair with his secretary because she has just developed green fungus under her toenails too.
Should I see a doctor .... marriage counselor ..... therapist or just kick his butt to the curb?
