I love when Sayid is in tough army mode, toting his gun around and sneaking through the jungle. Frankly I'm glad the show ditched you know who because she really brought his toughness factor down a few nothces. I second Sawyer as hot! But as far as characters go, I think Mr. Eko is fascinating.

PS Don't forget Kate! She is my role model - whenever I lift weights, I think of having shoulders like hers.

So agree with you on Kate. She has a fabulous body. :)

I love Eko and Sayid too!

I'm amazed that they are revealing more back story. It's such a clever show. But I am really wondering what happened to John Locke and that other guy the runner-sailor ...

ok being southern, i gotta love sawyer, god he's hot.

if you Sayid fans haven't seen it yet, I got hooked on this movie he was in last year 'Bride and Prejudice". it's the jane austen story but set in India so it's a bollywood film, but it was produced in hollywood so americans can still relate to it. i watched it 4 times in one week, it's so cute and Naveen Andrews does some amazing Indian dancing and singing... and you get to hear his natural British accent... **purrrr** I highly reccommend! (not to mention Heath Ledger's best friend plays the leading male... and for those of you who like sawyer, he will not dissappoint, plus there's the dark haired type on there too... total eye candy)

oh yeah, and the women are so gorgeous you'll die. the lead actress is superb and made a point to have an average size physique. She's beautiful.

Does anyone feel like the show really doesn't cover a lot of ground in each episode? I love the show but feel like I've been duped once again when it ends. It seems to follow the "Soap opera" format of lots of hype but little follow through. I really wish they would make it more exciting and less like they are just filling the minutes. :-(

The show is just stupid and pathetic.

It's true that not much happens in most episodes b/c so much time is spent on the back story, which I find to be a really interesting approach to story telling. I forget - did they ever explain how John Locke became paralyzed?

When a show spends so much time on back story its because they don't have much else there and the real going on story can be told in a whole show. I can't imagine there are that many new fans just coming onto the show to have to have so much back story. It's a night time soap opera. Does anyone watch anything interesting anymore or real world stuff, like news, 20/20, dateline, documentaries, etc... Or is it all crap and reality tv?

I got so hooked on the show. I have to admit that I am a lost fan. The directors are so creative in how they show the scenes. It's like a huge story but you only get to see different sides and they all come together like a puzzle, but it leaves you w/ more to see next week. It never really ends...It's a cross b/w science fiction, adventure, and yes romance.....Sawyer is sooo hot..Those dimples get me...I also think Jack is cute...They did not show what happened to Locke and Ecko..I guess that's to come....

to 9:23 am poster

i don't think they did ever explain how locke became paralyzed. it's one of the things i have been so so SO curious about since we were exposed to the fact that he at one point (before the island i mean) was not paralyzed. my theory is that it has something to do with some sort of complication from donating a kidney to his huge jerk of a father...just a thought:)

10:47 poster - you should watch the show. They don't keep repeeating the same story - they keep reavealing new elements to each character's history. It's a very well done show and not at all crap. I watch a lot of documentaries and current affairs programming as well. The two are not mutually exclusive.

OK. Last night's show was finally worth watching. I guess they still have me hooked for while longer....
Did anyone see Jimmy Kimmel live last night and their spoof of LOST? Cracked me up. Something about that polar bear was so funny and the way they spliced it into the LOST show was hilarious.

Sayid and Sawyer. Oh, yes. Absolute fantasy men. Of course, these are men you could never have a relationship with because they are both so messed up, but they are so sexy.

kate is your work-out inspiration???? mine is hurley (ha ha!) don't want to look like that! besides his weight issue, i think he is an obnoxious character and i always get up to do something else when he comes on the tv. seriously though, i am also jealous of kate because of her looks. i want her hair! and i also want both of those men fighting over me.

speaking of two men fighting over you....grey's anatomy is getting a little old. who wouldn't want both patrick dempsey and chris o'donnell chasing after you?

and has anyone noticed that both "lost" and "grey's anatomy" have a neurosurgeon character named dr. sheppard? coincidence? or is ABC just that desperate for some creativity?

I don't think Hurley is obnoxious, I think he is most endearing character on the show. Plus it's nice to see a character who is a "real person" and not a supermodel. As for the comments about the backstories of the characters, I love seeing insights into the characters we think we know, plus it's neat to see the little clues of how everyone was interconnected before the plane crash.

i like that hurley is a "real person" as mentioned above. i don't like the way he beats around the bush about stuff instead of just getting to the point. it's just one more way the show drags on without getting anywhere.

by the way, i still watch it drag on every single week and love every minute of it.

i wonder how effective the "fish cracker" diet is.

Lost Last Night Nov 9...

Ok, so what is up with this.... you are on an island... you need a tumor removed... and you pussy foot around playing games instead of just being upfront with the surgeon who fell from the sky.... I mean, come on- why - what is their purpose there...
What is with the brown haired gal that is out in the woods- she wanted Ben? the one with the tumor? why has she been extricated from the group of others?
AND It is freaking frustrating to have to wait until February to watch more episodes of Lost... at least they are promising all new episodes every day.
Oh and did everyone else get the heeby jeebies when watching those two go at it in the cage? All I could think of was unwashed bodies and BO and bad breath.... and then surgeon ends up seeing it...

9:26, i'm going to have to disagree with you. kate and sawyer hooking up in the cage was seeeexy! i loved it. granted, i thought it was a bit unrealistic (like... no one ever walks by their cages or checks up on them? i mean, it seemed like they were taking their time lol) but that didn't make me enjoy it any less.
the brown haired girl who they took away screaming is implied to be the french lady's daughter. that's why she's nice. they took her away because they didn't want her giving kate & sawyer help or causing trouble, i guess. also, yeah i have no idea what the others are up to with this whole 'save ben- no kill ben' business.

is it february yet??

Wait until FEBRUARY??!!! Since when do the networks have "Fall" season endings? I mean how lame do they think the American public is that we need to be spoonfed a little bit each week for 6 weeks then need to wait until February to see the rest of the season? I think it is a crappy business strategy.
Don't know if I'll be joining them again in Feb.
BTW: The scene with Kate and Sawyer in the cage going at it was fine until I started thinkig about the lack of dental hygiene and soap. They say a bear can't smell his own stink though, so perhaps this is true in this case.
