is this gross?

I am trying to save money by making my coffee at home, but I also have to buy creamer, I always buy fat free creamer..half and half... or skim milk. Sometimes when I get home from work the yummy vanilla creamer is looking at me and i'll drink some of it straight like barely much maybe a half a mug, is this gross? Does anyone else get inticed by (for me the only thing in my fridge sometimes) their creamer, especially the flavored ones?

If you don't want to catch yourself drinking creamer straight out of the container, don't buy it. Learn to love coffee with skim milk and maybe a little sugar.

Seriously. I think the REAL secret to my successful weight loss is my never buying peanut butter, which I will eat straight out of the container with a spoon. Haven't kept it in the fridge for more than a year. If I don't see it smiling at me, I don't eat it.

sure it's gross. but i'm sure many of us have habits that are just as gross . . .i once picked some of my boyfriend's takeout chicken out of the trash and ate it. it was still in the closed take out container but still! GROSS!!! all time low!!!

however, on the creamer issue-when i was a kid, i used to drink my mom's "Coffee Rich". i don't know if they make it anymore-but it was a dairy free creamer i think and sickeningly sweet. i loved it. i used to put it on my cereal!!!

Hey, my mom used to have to hide the Pepto-Bismol from my brother and I when we were kids...we would drink the whole thing!

I don't think drinking something by itself that you would normally drink mixed with something is necessarily gross, just probably not your healthiest choice!

um, yeah...i think it's gross. i can't stand the taste of creamer. but if you don't think it's gross, what's the problem? i drink soy milk and plenty of people think it's gross. but i like it, so who cares?

gross or not gross, tis the question

my daughter wants to drink the creamer, too. sometimes i let her put some in milk like the way you would with chocolate syrup. BUT it sickens me to think of what creamer is made of: hydrog oil and sweetners... anyway, if it doesn't bother you to drink the creamer in the coffee, then why should it bother you to drink it straight?

If the creamer is looking really good to you, you may just be craving fat, sugar, or calcium. I get those little calcium chews. They taste like a piece of candy, are only 20 calories, and satisfy my sweet tooth. You may also want to try 'skinny cow' ice creams. They are little ice cream sandwiches that are only 140 calories per sandwich and are very satisfying(and will probably do less damage than the creamer).

I agree, you may want to not buy things you know you are prone to binging on. There are these amazing organic chips that are made of black beans and rice that I just love. Every now and then, I buy a bag forgetting I will eat the whole thing if not stopped. Even though they are "healthful", eating 6 servings at one time isn't. Even though your creamer isn't that bad for you, drinking it like milk will catch up to your diet. Don't tell yourself that you're not allowed to have the creamer. Tell yourself that you don't want the creamer around right now, so it's not something you even have to think about.

I hardly think drinking a flavored creamer out of the container is gross.
