Need New Motivation (re-motivation)

I have fallen off the wagon! I was doing so good and then got distracted. I made up my mind to start exercising and eating less but I can't seem to get back on track.
Please give me inspiration & motivation! I need to lose 20 lbs! I want to do it for me, for my health, for my hapiness, not for anyone else.
Any tips are welcome.
thank you, thank you!

good timing...

I just posted two comments in two different groups that I think might help. I was posting them to my group members, but found that in typing them, I was re-motivating myself as well. So, I'm just going to cut and paste them here:

1.
I've been getting a little frustrated with my mother. She is a bit overweight (not too much, but round, and bigger than she wants to be) and she walks every day, but she complains about not losing weight. I've offered her some suggestions about simple ways she could give herself a little boost, but she always balks at my suggestions. And granted, she's almost 70 so she can't do everything I can, but she can do SOME things. So, I've been thinking about the excuses we make (to ourselves and others) and I've resolved (a little early for New Year's) to stop making excuses - for anything. I tell myself: Either do something or don't, but be fine with your decision. Don't make excuses for what you don't or can't do. I'm sure I'll need to re-make this resolution on a daily basis, but I'm determined to stick with it.

For me, when I see a DIRECT connection between my behavior (eating and exercise) and my results (how I look in the mirror and what the scale says), it helps me stay on track. Something that REALLY helps me stay on track is figuring out the calories of something *before* I eat it. 1) that helps me decide if it's "worth it" and 2) if it's a little higher than I'd like, I can adjust what i eat the rest of the day.
I think trying to lose weight or get in shape without a real plan is like trying to draw a straight line without a ruler. Sure you can do it, but it's a lot harder. I almost ALWAYS overeat if I don't first determine what the limit is. Then, on the occasions when I do go over the limit, it's only by a little bit and it's not very often.

GOOD LUCK! You can do it!!

If you really want some motivation, take a before picture of yourself in a bikini and post it in your profile or hang it up on your bedroom or bathroom mirrors! I did that and it certainly motivated me!
