Woman's World Readers....

We have a lot of new members coming in from Fleur's piece in the magazine. What advice can we give the new members to help them get started?

OMG, do not do not do NOT join a bunch of groups and then never come back without ever logging anything or commenting once!

I'm in one group that got stuffed with "empties" this week.

Yes, I think it's a good idea for new members to join one group or team and get used to it for a little while before branching out. Also, doesn't Elle have a team for new members?

Read the logs of others. Leave comments. It gives you an idea of things to put in yours, and gets people looking at yours and making suggestions in turn. I love getting feedback from people who aren't necessarily in my group/team.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the article about Fleur83. She is one of my biggest inspirations on PT. I'd love to read the article.

I am one of the Newbies from Women's World

and I am thrilled to be here, However.... I think that a better home page for PT would solve many many problems. There is very little to go on until you join something, and even then this site is confusing and problematical. Please put more information on your home page, or have people become members, but have to wait for the welcoming email (which has lots of information, but comes too late for people who have already started joining groups) before giving them other links. I feel like everything I discover has been done by trial and error. My 2 groups are inactive, but the team I found has been active and helpful, and because of the team, I am persevering in trying to be active in my groups, but it is hard going.

The date of the issue is Dec 26. Little did I know the issues come out way earlier than the date on the magazine, I could have bought it before my vacation. They disappeared off the shelves already, but I finally got the magazine! Woman's World sent me a few copies at my request. I ended up being on the pre-last page, and they picked a pic that didn't really showcase my "after" but still a cute pic. I'll post a scan of the article soon in my public log and let you guys know in this thread. Oh, I will also be in "All You" magazine in the March issue, so stay tuned! I thin it comes out in February on the shelves. A big welcome to all you Woman's World readers, this is a great site, take advantage! and good luck!

Re

Hello! Tell me, do you use an electronic format for reading sports magazines and books? I know that many e-book sites have magazine selections and this option is often free. Try to register and search for what you are interested in. I guess it won't take up a lot of your time and can be of great benefit. I also bought a bunch of magazines before))
