it still amazes me that childish, catty comments like the one above continue to be posted on these threads. why do people come here to make nasty comments and have a laugh at someone else's expense? it makes absolutely no sense to me. what does the poster of hurtful comments gain from doing so? is it a feeling of superiority over strangers?

OP here :)

I was just wondering the make up of peertrainer, ya know? Who are my "peers".

That's all...not trying to weird anyone out.

This isn't an accurate view of who's on PT. I rarely post here in the community, only here today.

I love how the google ads at the bottom picked up on "ethnicity" and "single" to give us a lovely selection of dating/foreign marriage sites.

Yes, Chines brides and Moroccan men and single millionaires! Exactly what we're all looking for, lol.

PT suggestions for "peer info"

I think there should be places in our profile info to enter all this stuff (if one chooses to, of course) so we could sort and find members on those things.
For instance, I would like to find other women with kids who weigh about the same weight I do who are looking to lose the same amount of weight I am.
And yes, I know - I could post a thread about it and ask those people to join me - but that's not what I mean. I just mean it would be nice to be able to check up on people (like we do in the public logs) who fit a certain criteria we're interested in.
Here are a few suggestions:
gender
age
height
current weight (with date)
goal weight
