Looking for an active group!

I am a 41 year old married woman with teenagers and a demanding job looking for help staying on track...I have about 40 lbs to lose, and am knowledgable about nutrition and exercise - but have a problem staying the course. After a few weeks or months, i always seem to revert back to bad habits. I have begun to recognize "triggers" but it is still difficult.

I have been doing very well the last few weeks - cardio 6 days a week, weight training three, lots of water. But find myself wondering how soon it is before i begin slacking off again. I am hoping that this could be a tool that will help me finally become successful in meeting my goal!

I would love to find an active group to participate in!

It sounds like we have a lot in common. Although I do not have children yet, I am married and have a very busy work schedule. I have also lost weight in the past, but after a while I revert back to my old eating habits and put the weight right back on. Now when I mention a workout plan or change of eating habits, my family members ask "How long are you going to stick to it this time?" It is discouraging, but a valid question given my history. I would like to join a group that will help me make a permanent change in my life style. I just joined yesterday and would like to be a part of an avtive group as well.
