So frustrated with this diet!

I have a physical disability, and have been dietting for 1 & 1/2 years , losing 106 lbs. However, lately I haven't had much of an appetite and my PTA(physical therapy aide) said I need to consume at least 1200 calories a day. So, I've been keeping a food journal, and really trying to add calories, since I'm coming nowhere near that. I just don't know the cutofff line is from eating not enough to eating too much. Can anyone help?

First of all, your PTA is not a Registered Dietitian. =) Your cut off line is more of a gray area. My advice would be to meet with a dietitian who can help you figure out where you should be. I say that because a dietician will take into account your medical history (since you've obviously been attending physical therapy). There are also tools available through this website to help you or BEE calculators online that can help you calculate how many calories you should consume.
