Rainy day ideas with kids- SAVE ME FROM CONSTANT SNACKING

Tomorrow I planned to go to the beach with my daughter, and expected a good day of swimming, hole digging, wave jumping etc, alot of exercise! Now it turns out its gonna thunderstorm! I really need to get some exercise tomorrow because I've slacked all week and have just been eating eating eating.I have her all day tomorrow because its the babysitters day off and my day off work, I know I can take her to museums, do art projects, see a movie etc etc but I really wanted to build up a sweat somehow!
Any ideas? preferably not ones that keep us in the house, because staying inside all day usually leads to constant snacking for me. I cant seem to find a mother-child yoga or dance class in my neighborhood. Ideas?tips? Thanks!

-is there an indoor pool in your area? we just joined our community center and i really got my heart rate going doing laps w/ my daughter on my back.
-could you put some rain gear on and take a walk? i know my daughter LOVES jumping in puddles.
-what about doing 30 minutes of cardio in the house before you leave to the museum? put on some lively music and dance or do a favorite exercise DVD or walk on treadmill if you have one. your daughter might enjoy dancing, too. or put a kids' show on for her while you jump rope. 30 minutes of TV won't ruin the day for her.
-is there a drop-in gymnastics gym in your area? we have one and i find bouncing on the trampoline w/ my daughter gets my heart rate up.
-can someone watch your daughter for an hour and a half so you can go to the gym? you are still spending 22.5 hours with her & the good-mood endorphins you'll get from the gym will last the whole day through.

in my experience, if i get my exercise in the morning, and have something concrete planned for the rest of the day, this helps w/ the stay-at-home-snacking doldrums.

good luck & have fun!
