Best Snack?

What is a better snack- Apple or Oranges? I just read that oranges fill you up more and have more fiber. Are they as low in points as Apples?

What do others snack on?

Thanks!

I eat 1/2 or 1 ounce of unsalted almonds almost everyday. I don't follow WW so I don't know the points but they contain healthy fats, fiber, and protein.

i read recently that a study showed oranges to help with weight loss, but who knows, there are studies that say all sorts of things...

Both :-) Isn't it fortunate that they are at their peak during different seasons?

Seriously they both have lots of virtues and either one is a heck of a lot better than a snickers, so enjoy whichever one you prefer at the moment. I can eat alot more apples (day in, day out) than oranges though - too much acid for my mouth and stomach to handle for long. I'm only good for 1 a week or so....

You gotta keep it mixed up!

Bananas are good, too!

Bananas, Apples and Oranges are all good for you... As in all things, I'm sure that moderation is the key and keeping things mixed up is best. :-)

Points Value

Apples and oranges are the same amount of points...1 each. But beware of oranges. A 1 point orange should be about the size of a baseball. If you're eating one of those HUGE oranges (about the size of softball or even bigger) you should really count for 2 points.

What about having 2 of those little clementines?
My guess is that it's about the same as 1 medium orange?
