How did you meet your husband?

I just want to know because I think I need more ideas or maybe open my mind up more to different places. Thanks.

Met through a mutual family friend. I was living with her daughter at the time, and she was good friends with both my parents and his parents. She had my mom and his mom exchange our phone numbers. My mom gave me his, and I threw it away. He ended up calling, and we met, and the rest was history!

Lol, my mom didn't even want us to meet, b/c she didn't like his parents! We've been married over a year now.

DF and I met when I was with a mutual friend... he orginally hated me. He asked our mutual friend "Make her go away."

Fast forward 3 months, we remet through another mutual friend, and he had forgotten all about our first meeting, he said he must have been crazy the first time we met because he couldn't see ever wanting me to go anywhere with out him.

We met at church. I thought that he was a great guy and would make someone a good husband; I was not interested in him that way, I tried to set him up with one of my friends. We've been married over 2 yrs.

we met in high school. i always knew who he was but never gave him a second thought until one day, i saw him laughing and it was love at first sight! i put the word out i was interested and two weeks later we were on our first date. we dated the rest of high school, all through college and got married. we dated 6 years and we've been married 8.5 years so far. we literally grew up together, i'm so lucky to be married to my best friend. and every day really does get better and better!

At work where we became friends. I even worked for him for a while. I tried to fix him up and when he finally gave in and started dating a friend, I realized that I was jealous. I let it go but later, when he was available again, I gave it a try. We will celebrate our 17th anniversary on December 8th.
