If you're a boy, you have a fair shot - no monthly hormonal fluctuations to get in the way, greater natural muscle mass, fewer sugar cravings overall. Try signing up for a 6-8 week bootcamp-style program, they're very popular now and meet 3-5x a week.

If you're a girl, then I have nothing to offer you that doesn't come out as a nasty, nay-saying "joke". Choose the unhealthy route of your choosing, you don't need advice to figure that out.

I estimated your age at about 30, for these purposes.

If you eat 1200 calories and workout 5-6 times a week (work out hard..I'm assuming both cardio and weight training) you can lose 30 lbs by 2/28 (I figurd that by 2 mo. you meant by March? All of Jan and Feb).

If you work out 2 times a day, you can lose it by 2/20ish

Anything under 1200 calories a day, I REALLY wouldn't reccomend, and make sure you're taking vitamins. Like...5 calories and can help make the difference between passing out and being healthy if you're eating low-cal.

If you're a male, POSSIBLY you can go under 1200 and be OK until you lose the weight, because males can have lower % body fat without side effects like women. If you're a woman, PLEASE don't go under 1200, it's not necessary.

Also, expect to gain a few of the pounds back after you lose the 30 for whatever event you obviously have. Simply because you'll be 'rush' losing them, and that weight loss is rarely easy to maintain.

Good luck, and please, good health.

Actually, since this is a man, they have a different "starvation" threshold, somewhere around 1400-1500.

So you have already done it before so yOU can do it again. You already know what you need to do. Work your ass off, eat 3 meals a day, good healthy choices. Exercise, exercise, exercise. If you have the time to devote 2-3 hours a day to exercising you can do it.
Oh and just an FYI:

LOOSE MEANS YOUR PANTS ARE TO LOOSE
LOSE MEANS YOU WANT TO LOSE THE WEIGHT

why is this so hard for people to get????

Well, since you feel it's necessary to correct people:
It should be "Your pants are TOO loose."
