Hey! This is me, Lori. Thanks to the poster who noticed my loss. Last week I just told myself to be patient and that my hard work would pay off. And it has. I generally don't look so far ahead as to say, "I have 59 pounds left to lose" I keep the goals short term. I'm just so amazed at my 41 pound loss. I am proud of myself for sticking with it and making myself a happier, healthier me, mom and wife.

Congrats, Lori! Awesome job! I would love to hear how you went about losing your weight, maybe you can give me some words of encouragement. I have about 85lbs to loose and although I really want to be healthier and feel better about myself, I'm so discouraged at times! I know its always better to set small goals but I have a hard time seeing past the "big" number and thinking, how am I going to do this?

Your an inspiration! I wish you continued success!

41 pounds! Congratulations! I've read through some of your comments in your log. It really is paying off. Proves to me if I stick with it, I will get there too. Thank you. When I see examples of individuals who actually do it, I know I can do it as well.

Congratulations!

Congrats on your weight loss. My name is Monique, and I am new to the group. I am currently on Optifast and have lost around 40lbs. I still have a few weeks to go before I start incorporating food back into my life. I thought it would be best to get some support on this board. I'm nervous about slipping back into bad habits, and want to start strategizing to continue my success
