trouble keeping up my diet while sick...

I know that one would assume that being sick helps you to lose a few pounds. But I have the opposite problem... every time I get sick with a cold I feel like I have to jam pack my body with nutrients( this is true I suppose), but I just end up over eating, thinking it will make me feel better. Its all healthy stuff but its way too much...plus I have so much time to just sit around the house since I'm not at work. any advice?

It may not be nutrients you're looking for, it could be comfort. Try deciding ahead of time what an appropriate portion is & put an end to the meal. Tea usually works for me, also try brushing your teeth right after you eat so you don't keep on grazing.

I know what you mean. I was sick all weekend I felt like such a blob on the couch watching TV all day. When I'm bored I eat. I think the idea of brushing your teeth is a good one, I should have thought of that. I did drink alot of tea.
One thing I really liked is jello. It's filling and felt so good on my sore throat.
