Yep, I've read this as well from an article from Men's Health my group member mentioned, see link below. I think it's because protein is harder to digest therefore our bodies use more energy to digest it than simple carbs like cake.

Even though I'm not a man, I think I want to start readin Men's Health. It seems to have more helpful advice than the female targed publications.

I read the article... very interesting. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can add protein to my breakfast without making eggs or some protein shake? What other options are out there?

Interesting stat on Men's Health Magazine- they get double the subscription revenue than any other mens magazine out there. Interesting because it means that people really see value in it. Now I have to figure out what women's magazines are good. a tough question.

I like Fitness magazine the best so far. Shape and Self talk too much about fashion and makeup and not enough about health and exercise. Maybe I should get Men's Health though, sounds pretty good.

turkey bacon and turkey sausage - 2 strips of turkey bacon is 70 calories, and 2 turkey sausage links is 80, minus any grease that comes off with the paper towel, and, it tastes like a treat!!
