I'm awed at your restraint

You really held the line! Good for you!

I didn't come anywhere close to doing as well as you did.

oh puh-leeze...its Thanksgiving!!

I think you did awesomely! I gave myself a total "pig-out pass" So I ate a ton...felt much fuller, even kind of sick, on much less food. It is a day of fun, food, family, etc.I love to cook and eat those treats!! However, next day I buckled back down. Next "day off" is Christmas. We MUST allow ourselves occasional indulgences on our way to our goals...keep it real! Debs

I think that's pretty amazing. I would have loved to have tacos for Thanksgiving dinner. We were at my inlaws and my MIL, while a nice woman, is one of the most mediocre cooks you can imagine. Dry turkey. Overcooked vegetables. Tasteless mashed potatoes. Bizarre "salads" with Cool Whip, jam, and Jell-O in them. Horrific rolls. Needless to say, I ate very little...except for the pumpkin pie which my BIL made. And who can mess up pumpkin pie? You get the pumpkin stuff out of a can!

Tacos sound good to me, too!

While my wife does a terrific job on turkey and the trimmings, I think I'd have to say I like her tacos even better. Those are really worth pigging out on.

And there are no leftovers hanging around to really screw up a diet program for several days afterwards!

Turkey tacos would have been an improvement on my Thanksgiving dinner -- no gravy, no yams, no stuffing, no pumpkin pie, and an overcooked bird. No wonder I lost a pound that week...so I guess maybe it wasn't such a bad dinner, lol.
