Sick of dieting...literally?

I have been sick for the past few days and I've noticed in the past that when I've really committed to changing my diet and cutting calories, I get sick! Maybe it's just a coincidence because I usually get re-inspired in the Fall/Winter and that's cold season, or maybe my body is pushing the bad stuff out? Anyone else have this experience, or is it just psycho-somatic on my part?

I can totally relate to this. I get sick too. I am convinced my body is purging the toxins.

Maybe you should check out the blood type diet. The only health problems I had were asthma and allergies, and since starting my diet, the asthma is gone, and allergies dramatically reduced. (And losing 4 1/2 inches off my waist in less than three months wasn't so bad either!!)

Really, when you think about it, your body doesn't crave "calories"- it craves nutrients, and when you focus on calories, you can sometimes lose the big picture. Especially, if you eat alot of processed or "artificial" food that's designed to fill you with few calories, but isn't designed to make you "healthy."

I mean really, what's the point of being smaller on the outside, if you're not truly healthy on the inside?
