Ideal Weight

Has anyone ever seen this? Your ideal weight based on height, age, current weight, and gender. For me it was dead on. Check it out and post what you said.

For me:
20 y/o female
5'4
current weight: 152
my goal weight: 128
goal weight according to site: 128

so strange.. It is odd, because when I started out at like 180, I said I'd be happy at like 145 - and then readjusted my goal as I got closer to it...

let me tell you...i have TONS of muscle and couldn't be 135 lbs if I tried..I would have to cut off a limb...I hate sites like that, never takes into account that you can have some muscle!!!

current weight: 120
my goal: 115 (and I think this is pretty extreme!)
site's ideal: 110 lbs.
medical recommendation: 101lbs - 132 lbs

I dropped about 5lbs and went down a whole pants size! I can't afford the wardrobe that would be associated with losing 10 lbs more!!

I can definitely use the site's number as a first major goal to meet.
Thanks. :)

ideal weight

Note that the first weight is what people who weigh a certain amount think they should weigh. If you change the weight you enter, the results change because people most always think they should weigh something other than they actually do.
The site's actual recommendation is standard BMI chart data.

I tried this and my goal weight is 130 and it told me my ideal weight should be 127. I cant imagine myself being that small or even being 130! Thank you!

Ideal weight tables

I liked this sight, based on averaging the average of the different calculators, the weight I'm shooting for (155 lbs) is right on target.

Currently: 5'8.5" 190 lbs
just went down to a size 14, want to be back in a 10 (comfortably)

for me:
36 yr old female
5'3
current weight 165
goal weight 140-145
site ideal weight 134

I have a large frame and know that 134 would be very thin for me, but I will see what I look like at 140-145 and go from there.

I'm 5'4",
Currently I weigh about 175-180.
My own thoughs for my ideal weight is about 135-140.

There's no way I'd be much less than that because I tend to carry a lot of muscle and have a medium/large frame... :-)

The Medical recommendation is 111-146, so I'm right in the range, there!
