Maybe They Were Dropped for Inactivity

I don't know for a fact, but my impression is that a lot of people take time off or go on vacation over the holidays, but do not notify PeerTrainer by checking the "On Vacation" box in their sign-up info.

Then they automatically get dropped for inactivity after nominally 7 days.

The spotlighters who got dropped haven't logged in weeks, literally. I hope the next spotlight will have people who are all serious about their goals and supporting the goals of others.

Sticking with it

I have been very tempted to drop out several times in the last few weeks. I really believe that those who are serious neeed to make this a priority even during the rough times.

I agree with the above posts completely. Spotlight was a good experience but it could have been much better had there been more participation.
Apart from my own group, thre were only other spotlighters who commented. The rest of the community was missing and hence the accountability. There was no additional pressure and it was just like another group.
I hope next round has more committed people. Also I hope now that the holiday season is over, there will be more participation from the rest of the peertrainer community.

I totally agree.
Even if you are going through an eating bonanza, lol, you should continue to be accountable and stay in contact with the group. We're to be imperfect and need the support!

New active group

I'm facing the exact problem with my groups... So have created a new one and hoping to have Really active posters on it who check each others logs and make it a point to comment and support.

'Active buddies' is the group name. I think anyone who opens this thread on the community would be active during the highest-dropout-season (the holidays) :) so hoping to get the right group in.
