Just joined and original group member left???

So, two days ago I joined a group becuase I liked the profile.
I began logging right away and noticed the one other member hadn't written in a couple of weeks. Today it looks like she left and I'm the only one in the group... I guess that's ok - hopefully someone else will join- but it just seems weird.

Thanks

I just read about members getting removed if they haven't been active. I bet that is what happened.

She probably didn't intentionally leave, but did not log in for so long that peertrainer removed her from all groups. That's what they need to do occasionally to remove deadwood.

This is really common and you definitely shouldn't read anything special into it. I think that when people join and create a new group, if it doesn't acquire members within a short time, they may lose interest entirely, or move to other groups.
This also leads to many groups with profile descriptions that are totally unrelated to the current membership and their interests. The descriptions can be edited by the members but I know I feel uncomfortable with editing something that isn't "mine".

Happens all the time. Don't hesitate to dump that group and find or start another one. Just move on and upward!

A lot of people went on vacation for more than a week and didn't realize they could tell the computer not to dump them. One of our best group members won't be back until January 8 but PeerTrainer dropped her because she hadn't posted for more than a week.
