what your calories come from is much more important than how many you eat.

And "glucose-fructose" is essentially HFCS. I've even seen it listed as an ingredient in lean cuisine meals.

Duh

No offense, but this isn't rocket science...Added sugar in foods - especially foods that shouldn't need it - isn't good for you. Soda has fructose - what a surprise?! C'mon.

Perhaps more interesting for people would have been actually identifying all of the "normal" foods that people think are healthy but are actually loaded with HFCS. Like the above posted noted, even Lean Cuisine. Or remember Super Size Me - only TWO items on McDonald's entire menu did not include added sugar. And if I recall correctly, salad was NOT on that list. I'll add one, Campbell's Soup at Hand - low calorie, sure, but TONS of sugar and sodium in this seemingly "healthy" product.

I find that a good rule of thumb when reading labels is: If I cooked this at home, would I add sugar? If the answer is no, then I don't eat it. The only time sugar turns up is in baking, which I never do, or there are small amounts in some salad dressings or Asian recipes.
