interesting quiz

Hi all, some of you may have seen this before, i'm not sure how accurate it is but it was kind of an eye open for me. This is a fast quiz (2-3 min) that gives an estimated "real" age for you as well as how much longer you are estimated to live based on your answers. I'm 43 years old, and took the test two times. The first time showing my current weight/choltesteral/blood pressure and it showed me at 37 years old with 13,800 more days life expentancy. I took it the second time and reflected an average weight/cholesterol/blood pressure and it put me at 26 years 17,800 days additional life expentancy - i need to get my big butt on that eliptical machine!

This quiz put me at 16 years old! With a life expectancy until 92 - eek! I never thought I'd want to live that long :)

I haven't seen this one, but have you seen the realage.com quiz? It takes a little longer, but it gives you your real age based on lsimiliar factors, it's just a little more detailed. It also gives suggestions for lowering your age. Since I'm 40 it made me happy to come in at 31 years old :)

Hey I'll take it, even with my health issues and the fact that I'm 40 pounds overweight they have my real age at 21.1 and my life expectancy at 91.9, I am 39 so hey I should go celebrate, I just got 18 years of my life back, WOOHOO!

I took the one on the second site suggested. It was really interesting. Also gives a lot of tips on how to improve your real age. Kind of frusterating though. My real age is up from where it should be b/c I became septic and almost died from the infection earlier this year. I guess they just think that the stress from it has aged me...

I don't know about this. I am not a super healthy person... but I filled this out honestly (overweight, taking bc pills, eat refined foods and fat... etc) and it put my real age at 6 years old. I am 26. I don't think that is realistic at all.

I just took it too and I don't find it all that accurate! I am 21 at a healthy weight range, no smoking or bc pills plus no past illnesses and it aged me at 19.5 yrs old with a target age of 72.4 years old! That seems incredibly low since the other poster was at 90yrs old!

Try the other one - the results seems a little more realistic.

Wow, it said at the rate I am going I will only have 15 more years. That isn't surprising with my health problems. Oh and that my real age is 59.5 ya that feels about right.
But I am doing something about it now. That is what is important.
The frustration is you can't fight your genetics.

3:43 - the good news is there's SO much you can do to combat genetics - (depending upon what the issue is.)

I'm really starting to think that someone has a compulsion about referencing old threads. That's gotta add some years!

do you think it's the same old thread junkie that kept bringing up the diet coke and pop threads about three weeks ago?

No, I'm a different Old Thread junkie.

But my hat is off to the one who bumped all those threads about Diet Coke. It was annoying, but made an excellent point.
