Natural skin care

Any ideas about natural skin care products from your kitchen?.. I've heard lemon juice is good for the skin...

I've heard that you can mix honey and (uncooked) oatmeal to make a scrub.
Also, black tea (cooled) supposedly makes good toner. I haven't tried either of these myself but they're worth a try.

OP here! Thanks for the ideas! I've tried fruit packs that are wonderful and very light on the skin. I just don't like using all that chemical stuff on my face.

Trader Joe's carries a wonderful line of natural products and they are not very expensive.

I work in a spa, and we use sugar and honey as a lip scrub while doing facials. it works better than the lip stuff that the product line provides. And if a little gets into your mouth- its no big deal (well, unless you're diabetic)

I do an aspirin and honey face scrub/mask every other day and it works wonders! I read about on makeupalley.com. I put six uncoated aspirin in my palm, squeeze enough honey over them just to cover them, and then run a tiny trickle of water over the honey and aspirin to help the aspirin dissolve. I massage this mixture into my wet face and then let it sit for about 15 minutes. I rinse it off and voila! Smooth smooth skin, invisible pores, and a healthy glow. I've noticed a lot less blackheads and breakouts since I have been doing this. And its CHEAP!
