Description:

Ginger is a Powerful Food

If you look at the label on this page, it does not contain traditional vitamins and minerals, although it does contain small amounts of potassium, magnesium and copper.

Ginger is best known at helping soothe upset stomachs, and helps aid digestion.

It has also been reported that ginger is highly effective at treating morning sickness. One of the most interesting studies showed that ginger might have a role in helping to stop the growth of "human colorectal cancer cells."

Many vegetables and spices have been shown to have positive health effects. The key is to eat a lot of them, and eat as many of the ingredients together.

Indian food, when made in a way that limits calories and is high in vegetables, is an excellent way of getting these foods into your diet.

In Indian cuisine, Ginger is a staple of many dishes and forms a "spice base" along with garlic, onions and  whole host of spices like Turmeric and Cumin.

A Trick To Make An "Indian" Version Of Literally Anything

All you need to do is put a chunk of ginger, 4-6 cloves of garlic and half an onion in a food processor. You then put the mix into a frying pan and cook the mix with a little coconut oil. Take a jar of curry powder out of your spice rack and shake liberally. As the mixture begins to cook, you can add pretty much anything you want to the mix.

This is the base of many Indian dishes. The single best curry combination that we have seen, and that we use at PEERtrainer HQ is called "Muchi Curry" made by Whole Foods, and sold there. If you are a PEERtrainer regular or part of our Cheat System, that is an order!

Put Fresh Ginger Into Green Tea

Ginger is awesome on vegetables, great especially when mixed with other spices. A little fresh ginger added to Green Tea, can make green tea taste great.

If you put some ginger in the freezer, you can very easily grate it into the tea. Ginger is an excellent addition to any of the PEERtrainer Power Bowls, especially the "Insane Man Hunger Cure."
