Video: Leg and Shoulder Workout Using Resistance Bands

A Near Full Body Workout Designed To Increase Strength and Endurance

By Habib Wicks, PEERtrainer Co-Founder
I am in the process of going on Bodylastics "Live Exercise" show once a week. Last week I did back and arms. Today I did legs and shoulders. This was an intense workout. Blake had the yellow bucket out as a joke, but I came close to needing it.

Over the next couple weeks Blake and team will be recording a series of toning videos for women. If you have bands you can watch the shows live at 7:30 am EST, and they are posted on the video shortly after. Great to follow along. If you need a set, I highly recommend you get one. Now that Blake has these free workout videos available, we are going to be focusing a lot on this type of exercise. With the bands you can play along at home.

For Runners: At minute 30:30 we do a hamstring strengthening workout. I have been doing this for several months now to strengthen my hamstrings which had been getting very sore during my runs. A local triathlete told me to "hammer" my hamstrings which I have been doing. The soreness has diminished almost entirely.  We know that there are a lot of runners and athletes on PEERtrainer and we will be doing a lot of focus on helping people get stronger and faster.
